Biography

Alice Reiter is an experienced litigator and advocate with a broad civil rights practice that focuses on representing plaintiffs in matters involving employment discrimination and retaliation, sexual assault and abuse, police misconduct, prisoners’ rights, and election law. She has extensive experience litigating housing discrimination matters under the Fair Housing Act and state and local anti-discrimination laws, including Fair Housing Justice Center, Inc. v. JDS Development LLC et al.; Fair Housing Justice Center, Inc. v. Ulster Savings Bank; and Fair Housing Justice Center, Inc. v. Horizon Realty of New York LLC, et al.  

Prior to joining Cuti Hecker Wang in 2013, Ms. Reiter worked as an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and as a law clerk for Hon. Barbara S. Jones of the Southern District of New York. She is a recipient of the 2015 Fair Housing Justice Center’s Acting for Justice Award.
