Biography
Bonnie Beth Silvestri is a Senior Counsel in the Ethics and Compliance Division of the New York City Law Department. Prior to working for the Law Department, she moved from Sarasota, Florida where her roles included serving as Ethics and Compliance Specialist for Sarasota County as well as Senior Fellow for Arts, Culture, and Civic Engagement and adjunct faculty teaching Constitutional Law and Women and the Law for the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee.
She received the Graham-Frey award for excellence in civic learning in sustaining participatory democracy from Florida Campus Compact.
In New York, her work included serving as the Founding Executive Director of the Judicial Campaign Ethics Center and Special Counsel to the New York City Conflicts of Interest Board. She performs with the Entertainment Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
