Biography

Drew Sheehan is a senior managing director in the FTI Consulting Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment and is based in Washington, DC. He is a member of the Data & Analytics Practice and leads the team’s Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) offering. For the past 13 years, he has focused on collection and analysis of structured financial and operational data for purposes of fraud investigation, financial reporting and analysis including visual analytics, business process automation and accounting and financial systems data reconciliation.


Mr. Sheehan established and continues to lead the Corporate Solutions team within the Data & Analytics practice, assisting clients facing issues involving considerable amounts of data and complicated IT landscapes. Typically, clients are undergoing a large organizational change which can include digital transformation, incorporating disparate acquisitions or starting as a stand-alone entity. Mr. Sheehan leads tactically focused projects to improve data integrity, data utility and reporting. He empowers clients to own the data and analytics by building sustainable, repeatable, automated and scalable processes and successfully transitioning ownership to clients.


Mr. Sheehan and team assist clients establishing and enhancing ESG programs by optimizing the data process for calculating Key Performance Indicators, emission values and sustainability metrics. He establishes single-source-of-the-truth data sets with validated internal and external information using automated and sustainable processes. He designs, develops and operationalizes dynamic visual reporting to track KPI and metrics performance over time.


Mr. Sheehan possesses experience reviewing and analyzing significant amounts of documents and electronic data to extract key information. He has guided clients and counsel on case settlement and litigation strategy based on the findings of his team and the opposition. Prior to joining FTI, Drew worked on insurance recovery projects on behalf of policyholders and assisted in building a proprietary claims allocation model used on several litigation and non-litigation projects.


Mr. Sheehan holds a bachelor’s degree in Commerce from the University of Virginia. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Virginia.
