Biography
Jessica Bahr is Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief of Staff to the Executive Management Committee at Constellation Brands, Inc., a total beverage alcohol company and producer of iconic brands, including Corona Extra, Modelo Especial, Kim Crawford, Meiomi, The Prisoner, SVEDKA vodka and High West Whiskey. Jessica leads the Advertising, Marketing, Promotions & Trade Practices Legal Team at Constellation Brands, a team of lawyers and legal professionals responsible for supporting the Marketing and Sales organizations across beer, wine & spirits, on all things consumer and customer-facing. Her practice focuses primarily on strategic counseling on advertising, promotional and privacy matters, creative, packaging & label review, and transactional work, including negotiating and drafting various agreements for sponsorships, agency services, overscale talent engagements, music licensing, technology services to support the company’s martech stack, and other topics relevant to building and promoting the company’s iconic brands.
Prior to joining Constellation Brands, Jessica was an advertising attorney for Re:Sources USA, the shared services division of Publicis Groupe, a global leader in communication. In that role, she provided legal support primarily for the Leo Burnett agency, and she began her career as a trademark and copyright lawyer with the law firm, Neal & McDevitt LLP. Jessica actively speaks in front of various bar associations on alcohol beverage and advertising legal topics and has been an active volunteer for Lawyers for the Creative Arts in Chicago for the past decade.
