Kathleen M. LaVoy

Biography

Katie LaVoy is the Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation (NASDAQ: GLDD), the largest provider of dredging services in the United States. GLDD also has significant international dredging operations in the Middle East. Ms. LaVoy provides legal and regulatory guidance to GLDD’s Board of Directors and serves on the company’s Executive Management committee.

Prior to joining GLDD, Ms. LaVoy was a litigation attorney in the Chicago office of Winston & Strawn LLP where she focused her practice on commercial litigation and patent litigation.

Ms. LaVoy earned a J.D. cum laude from Northwestern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, graduating with distinction. Ms. LaVoy is currently a candidate for an Executive M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
