Biography
Kristin Johnston is Associate General Counsel, Head of Privacy and AI Governance at Afiniti, a leading global provider of customer experience (CX) artificial intelligence. Kristin has over a decade of experience advising companies on regulatory compliance in both the United States and international markets, including designing and building global privacy and responsible AI compliance programs. In addition, she is a certified AI Governance Professional, holds five privacy certifications, serves on the International Association of Privacy Professionals’ (IAPP) Publications Advisory Board, and has extensive experience speaking and writing about privacy and AI regulatory compliance/governance best practices for organizations such as the Practicing Law Institute, IAPP, Association of Corporate Counsel, and Bloomberg Law.
Kristin has a B.A. in Social Anthropology from Harvard University, and a J.D. from Fordham Law School. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Connecticut and in the Eastern District of Michigan.
