Biography
Krystin Kopen is Assistant General Counsel at JPMorganChase within the Corporate Emerging Technology Legal team. Operating at the intersection of technology and finance, Krystin supports the firm on a spectrum of innovative technologies, including blockchain, tokenization of assets, artificial intelligence, and immersive technology. Prior to joining JPMorganChase, Krystin was Corporate Counsel at FIS, advising on crypto and blockchain product development and strategic partnerships for FIS’s capital markets division and its merchant division, Worldpay.
In addition to her legal expertise, Krystin is an active member of the Women’s Bond Club, advancing the organization’s mission of empowering women in tech and financial services through education, mentorship, and professional development.
Beyond her professional life, Krystin is an artist, pianist, bibliophile, francophone, Francophile, gastronome, cultural explorer, futurist, adventurer, and lifelong learner. Her academic credentials include a B.A. in English and French from Washington University in St. Louis, an M.A. in French from Middlebury College, a J.D. from Villanova University, and an LL.M. in French and European Law from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
