Biography

Landon Heid is a Professional Staff Member on the House Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the CCP, where he covers technology issues. Prior to working in Congress, Landon was a Foreign Service Officer at the U.S. Department of State where he did assignments at U.S. Embassy Beijing, the Bureau of Intelligence and Research, and most recently, the Office of China Coordination covering export controls and U.S.-PRC tech competition. Landon has a master’s in international affairs from George Washington University, and a bachelor’s in finance from the University of Missouri.
