Biography
Lauren Carden is the managing attorney of the Eviction Defense Project at Legal Services of Northern California. She currently provides supervision and support to a team of attorneys representing tenants in eviction cases in the northernmost counties in California. Prior to managing the Eviction Defense Project, Lauren was a supervising attorney in the housing unit at Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, working on affirmative litigation, housing policy advocacy, and eviction defense matters. Lauren started her career with Legal Services of Northern California in the Eureka office and is happy to have returned to advocate for the rights of rural Californians. Lauren has a J.D. from UC Davis School of Law and a B.A. from UCLA.
