Laxmi Rees

Biography

Laxmi R. Rees is a Program Attorney and Director of the California Center in San Francisco. She began her legal career as a Staff Attorney with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit specializing in civil immigration cases.  She then focused on talent and professional development at private law firms, most recently as a Human Resources, Attorney Development and Recruitment Manager at Mayer Brown, LLP.  She has also volunteered as an attorney with the Superior Court in San Mateo, California.  Laxmi holds a B.A. in English from Rutgers University and a J.D. from American University, Washington College of Law.  She is admitted to practice in California.
