Biography
Lina Braude is a compliance attorney with over 20 years’ experience in compliance, investigations and anti-corruption matters. Supported by a team of compliance professionals, she leads global compliance function at Beam Suntory that enables the business to meet its objectives compliantly.
Before moving in-house, Lina was a partner with the global firm Baker& McKenzie, where she was advising multinational companies on anti-corruption and related compliance matters and representing them in front of U.S. authorities on the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act enforcement actions. In addition to spirits, her industry experience includes aerospace and defense, technology, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, logistics, retail and food, in Asia, Latin America, Africa and Europe, with in-depth knowledge of the former Soviet Union countries.
Lina grew up in Kazakhstan and is a native Russian speaker.
