Michael S. Traylor

Biography

Michael Traylor spent 30+ years as a music attorney, entrepreneur and a short stint as a label executive in the music business. He represented a wide variety of talent, producers and labels in the music industry before shifting his focus as technology shifted the business and the digital media era arrived in the new millennium. Since that time, Michael has focused his practice on what he refers to as “advanced media” which would include anything at the cross-section of traditional entertainment and technology. One are of special interest was within the videogame and AR/VR industries. These interests led him to recently join Facebook’s AR/VR division known as “Oculus” as Associate General Counsel. Michael is a native Detroiter and lifelong music-lover.
