Biography

Scott Schools is the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer at Uber Technologies, Inc. He joined Uber in 2018 after twenty-one years at the Department of Justice and seven years in the private sector. Scott spent 6 ½ years in the Deputy Attorney General’s Office where he advised Attorneys General and Deputy Attorneys General on significant matters with a focus on ethics and professional responsibility. He also served as the US Attorney for the Northern District of California, the US Attorney for South Carolina, the General Counsel of the Executive Office for United States Attorneys, and an Assistant United States Attorney.
