Is my company a Privileged Member?
If you are not sure that your company is a privileged member, please call Membership Services at 212.824.5763 or email membership@pli.edu.
What am I entitled to as a Privileged Member?
Privileged Membership offers attorneys, legal administrators, and paralegals at participating organizations unlimited attendance at more than 200 live PLI programs, all for one flat annual company fee. Privileged Membership's flexibility is suitable for large, medium, and small firms, legal departments, government agencies and for businesses and nonprofit institutions that operate both within the United States and internationally. There is also an Individual Privileged Membership option as well. PLI works with you to structure your Privileged Membership to meet your professional development and financial requirements. Privileged Membership also offers law firms and legal departments a convenient and cost effective way to make high quality CLE available to their lawyers who must satisfy annual state CLE requirements. In addition to its traditional array of substantive law courses, PLI offers law practice management, professional development, ethics, and skills courses that meet specific requirements mandated by the states. Privileged Membership offers substantial discounts on the purchase of PLI Course Handbooks, Treatises and Supplements.
Does my registration include hotel accommodations?
Your registration does not include hotel accommodations. Information on hotel accommodations for each program can be found under the "TRAVEL INFO" tab found with each seminar detail page.
Does PLI offer Closed Captioning in their programs?
Yes, many of our On-Demand Web Programs provide closed captioning. After launching a program, please make sure to click the "CC" icon on the bottom right-hand corner of the video screen.
- Live Programs. PLI will provide live captioning upon request for any live program at no extra charge. Captioning requests must be received at least 48 hours in advance of the live program for which captioning is desired. Captioning requests may be made by email to info@pli.edu. Our captions are prepared by live, professional captioners. PLI does not use machine translation.
- On-Demand Programs. Each recorded program is closed-captioned no more than two weeks after the live presentation. Where possible, PLI will release captioned programs in less than two weeks. Captioning accuracy is important to PLI, and we have found that accuracy and other aspects of preparing captioned programs (e.g., inserting time codes) take some time to do correctly.
You can view our full accessibility statement here.

Full and partial scholarships are available for judges, judicial law clerks, law professors, law students, attorneys 65 or older, law librarians, attorneys who work for nonprofit organizations, legal services organizations or government agencies, and unemployed attorneys. Scholarship applications must be submitted at least four weeks prior to the Live Seminar, Webcast, or On-demand web program you wish to attend.

When you are logged in the picture on our home page will change to a red background. You will also see a circle with your initials in it in the top right hand corner of the screen as well.
How do I access a Live Webcast?

Follow the link provided in the email. Log in with your business email and temporary password. Create a new password and click "Submit" to log in.

Can I pause a program?
Live programs cannot be paused. For On Demand programs, closing the program page should be the primary method of stopping playback as the program will automatically save your place. Leaving the program paused for longer than a few minutes can cause discrepancies in credit calculation. We recommend using the bookmarks tool for creating notes and marking significant sections that you would like to review.

Unfortunately, we do not offer bill payment online. Payments can be made by phone, fax, or mail.

Thank you for your interest in speaking for PLI. We are always happy to consider new speakers for our in-person programs and One-Hour Briefings. For best consideration please forward the following information to plispeakersuggestion@pli.edu so that we can properly direct your inquiry:
- A copy of your professional biography, including within your bio any relevant speaking experience;

- Indicate whether you can submit original written materials to support the specific topics of your presentation.
I have an idea for a new program, how can I submit a proposal?
We are always happy to consider new program topics. Please complete this form and we’ll be sure to reply promptly after reviewing your proposal.
What is the difference between a Program, a Live Webcast, an On Demand Web Program, etc.?
Our Programs are in-person programs held at a specific location. Our Live Webcasts are simulcasts of our Live Programs. On Demand Web Programs are our Live Webcasts which have been archived (this process typically occurs within 1-2 weeks). Our Co-Sponsored Groupcast Locations are simulcasts of our Live Programs held at specific locations. Our MP3s(audio) and MP4s(video) are downloadable segments. Our On Demand Web Segments are the segments from our larger On Demand Web Programs. Our One Hour Briefings are up-to-date, current one-hour audio only webcasts, which are also archived and available On Demand within 1-2 weeks of airing.
We also offer the opportunity for Privileged Member firms to host Groupcasts at their firm at no additional cost as long as there at least 2 or more people in attendance. For more information, please reach out to groupcasts@pli.edu.
