Getting Started in PLI Mobile
We’ve created these short videos to help you navigate our redesigned mobile app and take advantage of all the new features.
Onboarding
Upon initial login to the new PLI mobile app, users will be prompted to complete the onboarding process in order to create a personalized mobile app experience. Including details like your name, email address, role, practice area, and license information helps us to provide you with relevant content that supports your individual compliance progress.
Adding Licenses
After you add your licenses and credit requirements, PLI can send you reminders regarding your CLE deadlines; keep you updated on the latest rule changes; and easily display approved programs within your jurisdictions and in the practice areas of your choice — all offered in your preferred format.
My Library
While navigating within the app, “My library” is where you can store and find all your saved programs and segments
Your Home Page Experience
Once your profile is complete, your home page will display recommended programs based on your profile information. Items from “My library” are featured at the top of your personalized home screen, followed by additional relevant upcoming or on-demand programs. You can conveniently view and register for programs from the home screen, and easily share and download other PLI content.
Accessing Credit Tracker
PLI’s My Credit Tracker is now available within our mobile app! There you’ll be able to view the approval status of credits you’ve earned from PLI programs or other providers within customizable date ranges. To make this page convenient for users with multiple licenses, we’re also displaying your eligible jurisdictions and available certificates in one view.
Media Player
When watching a program, you can enable closed captions; navigate between video and transcript mode, program materials, and faculty information; and directly contact PLI with any questions. While streaming a live webcast, you can view the schedule and participate in interactive Q&A’s and live polling. You can also verify your attendance and submit for credits directly from the media player.
Finding Content
There are multiple ways to find programs in the app. You can search by keyword or use the “Find a Program” tool to display content offering your specified credit types and within your specified practice area and industry. When viewing your results, you can also filter by preferred format types, including Live In-Person, Live Webcasts, and On-Demand.
Register for an Upcoming Program
The new PLI mobile app allows you to register for upcoming programs within the app. If the program is offered in multiple locations, you can view the schedule of a specific location by tapping “Multiple Locations Available” on the program page. To register for an upcoming program, select the “Register” button on the program’s description page. You will be presented with the available viewing formats and locations. To view all your registrations, visit “My library.”
Register for an On-Demand Program
To stream an on-demand program, select “watch now.” This will open a new screen with your credit information. If you want to start viewing right away, select “start watching” to launch the video. While watching the program, you can also view related program materials, faculty information, and your bookmarks. If you want to watch at a later time, you can close out the credit information screen and the program will still be added to your library.
