Overview
2024 continues to be another extremely important year for international trade and national security law and policy, especially as the Biden Administration and Congress debate legislation and policy priorities all in the context of an election year. In addition, trade negotiations, new trade enforcement actions as well as recent legislation and regulatory challenges, and national security policies all have the potential to significantly affect companies and industries.
In this program, our panel of international trade and national security attorneys will discuss:

- Section 232 and Section 301 Tariffs – 8 minutes
- The latest on the US-EU “Global Arrangement” negotiations – 5 minutes
- National security policies towards Russia and China, and current Congressional priorities – 20 minutes
- The impact of recent legislation and programs like the Inflation Reduction Act, the CHIPS and Science Act, and Buy America requirements on critical material production, supply chain, imports, and exports – 12 minutes
