IP Discussions – Product Packaging

IP Discussions with Joshua Simmons is a series of conversations hosted by nationally recognized intellectual property litigator, Joshua Simmons. Each month, Josh is joined by a panel of IP luminaries, leading scholars, and industry insiders. Together, they examine major topics and events in a civil, roundtable format.

In Season 1, IP Discussions considered the different intellectual property disciplines that protect product design. This roundtable focuses on the related question of what IP protects product packaging and what considerations should be made in developing a strategy for the creation and distribution of product packaging. It also will consider the issue of counterfeit packaging and working with Customs and Border Patrol.
