Overview

Why You Should Attend

Newly admitted Ohio attorneys must complete 12 hours of New Lawyers Training by the end of their first biennial compliance period. Three of the 12 hours MUST consist of instruction on topics related to professional conduct, professional relationships, obligations of lawyers, or aspirational ideals of the profession; instruction on topics related to fundamental law office management; and instruction on topics related to client fund management. Attend this half-day live webcast program to earn these 3 credits while receiving expert guidance from a faculty of experienced Ohio-based practitioners.

After completing this program, participants will understand:

• Professionalism and the legal issues involved in social media for lawyers and clients 

• Law Office Management and the importance of client relations, trends in law office technology, and how to use marketing effectively and appropriately

• Client Fund Management and the best practices for proper maintenance of an IOLTA account
