This Studio Briefing addresses practical legal considerations following the Department of Justice notice of proposed rulemaking to reschedule marijuana from Schedule I to Schedule III, under the Controlled Substances Act. Our faculty address some of the immediate and longer-term implications of the proposal, relevant federal agency coordination and how counsel can prepare for certain developments that may impact manufacturers, companies, consumers, patients and other related parties.
