Biography
Michael Lawrence is an antitrust lawyer with extensive in-house experience at high-tech companies. He has regularly focused on the intersection of intellectual property and antitrust law. Mr. Lawrence is Senior Competition Counsel at Google LLC, which he joined in 2011. From 2005 to 2011, he was a competition attorney at Intel Corporation. Before that, he was an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP where he specialized in intellectual property, antitrust and commercial litigation. Mr. Lawrence has taught Intellectual Property as an adjunct professor at Loyola Law School and Santa Clara University School of Law. Michael also served as co-editor of the ABA Antitrust Section's Intellectual Property and Antitrust Handbook (2nd Edition).
