Liz Grennan
Liz Grennan is a Partner and Global Co-Leader of Digital Trust at McKinsey & Company. As a technology lawyer with two decades of experience specializing in data, tech and AI/ML ethics, data privacy, security and governance, and intellectual property, Liz launched a new McKinsey service line to de-risk a full portfolio of emerging technology. Liz advises clients on a wide variety of strategy, risk and operational issues related to data, AI/ML, technology and cloud. Previously at McKinsey, she built and led the McKinsey Digital legal and risk teams globally. She holds a patent on Systems and Methods for Integrated Technology Risk Management.
Prior to McKinsey, Liz served in key leadership roles in Analytics startups for over 10 years, leading both to successful exits. Liz holds a BA from the University of California at Los Angeles, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law. Liz frequently writes and speaks on topics regarding digital trust, AI and data governance and ethics, including for http://McKinsey.com , TechUK, Tortoise Media, and the World Economic Forum.
