American Bankers Association (ABA)
Requirements: The American Bankers Association (ABA) (formerly the Institute of Certified Bankers, ICB) requires financial service professionals who have obtained an ABA Professional Certification to maintain their certification with continuing education. These certifications include Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), Certified Financial Marketing Professional (CFMP), Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM), Certified Corporate Trust Specialist (CCTS), Certified IRA Services Professional (CISP), Certified AML and Fraud Professional (CAFP), Certified Securities Operations Professional (CSOP), Certified Retirement Serviced Professional (CRSP), and Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP). Each certification has a three year period in which to earn and report continuing education (CE) credits by January 31. Attendance Reporting: Certification holders must report their credits via the Certification Manager.
