Biography
As Legal Counsel and Director of External Affairs for Braskem America, Bilal Ezzeddine focuses on commercial law, labor and employment law, and directs Braskem’s relationships with external stakeholders, including government entities, trade associations, and organizational partners. Bilal has taken an active leadership role in Braskem’s diversity and inclusion platform by serving as a member of Braskem America’s Diversity and Inclusion Council, an internal advisory body that provides strategic guidance to the company’s Director of Diversity and Inclusion, as well as through external speaking engagements. Bilal is also a member of the IILP’s Social Impact Incubator focused on advancing diversity within the legal profession through innovative content and programming.
Bilal joined Braskem in 2013; previously he worked within the Law and Regulation Department of Allstate Insurance Co. outside of Chicago, IL. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law as well as the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor. He lives with his wife and daughter in Philadelphia, PA, where he also serves as a mentor to Philadelphia high school youth.
