Biography

Danielle B. Cohen is a Senior Program Attorney responsible for planning content in the areas of employment law and employee benefits law.  Prior to joining PLI, Danielle served for several years as a Staff Attorney for the San Diego Superior Court where she was responsible for reviewing criminal and civil court motions and preparing recommended rulings and outcomes for the judiciary.  She began her legal career as a corporate/transactional Associate with Cooley Godward LLP, and also spent some time as an appellate Associate with Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP, both in San Diego.  Danielle graduated magna cum laude, with a B.A. in Psychology from the State University of New York at Binghamton. She holds an M.S. Ed. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was an Editor for the School’s Journal of Labor and Employment Law and was a Legal Writing Instructor. Danielle is admitted to practice in New York, California and Washington, D.C.
