Biography
Ms. LaPuma has advised on landmark transactions across industries and around the globe for over 20 years and in matters totaling trillions of dollars in value. Ms. LaPuma most recently was the Head of UBS's Balance Sheet Advisory Group, serving as a Managing Director, from 2020 to 2023, particularly focused on representing financial institutions. She also ran Alvarez & Marsal Asset Management Services group, from 2013 to 2020, managing a portfolio of assets including a $2.5bn portfolio of debt and equity investments and approximately another $3.0bn of international assets. Prior to that, Ms. LaPuma worked in BlackRock's Financial Advisory Group as well as at Lazard Ltd, the global investment bank, and currently sits on the board of directors of Enterra Solutions, a private market-leading industrial scale artificial intelligence value chain solutions provider, Surgalign Holdings Inc., a public healthcare company, Roundhill Capital Partners, a private real estate fund and Ventura Capital, a private equity firm. Ms. LaPuma earned a Bachelor of Science in finance and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School, and a Bachelor of Arts from the School of Arts and Sciences, University of Pennsylvania, graduating summa cum laude and as a Palmer Scholar.
