Biography

Evan Naar is a New-York based attorney and acts as Assistant General Counsel for the licensing agency, Beanstalk. Evan graduated from the University of Florida’s Warrington College/Heavener School of Business with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2018. Evan then received his Juris Doctor from New York Law School and graduated with Cum Laude honors in 2021.

At Beanstalk, Evan primarily handles the Stanley Black & Decker, Kellogg and Dole accounts. Evan’s work requires him to structure, negotiate, update and draft a high volume of complex commercial contracts while maintaining end-to-end oversight of intellectual property licensing agreements. Evan has successfully closed several hundred deals during his tenure at Beanstalk and was elected by his peers as “Beanstalker of the Quarter for Q3 2022.”

While Evan is not working, he is heavily involved in the legal community. Evan has served as a guest lecturer on Intellectual Property and Licensing at New York Law School and at New York University’s Tisch Institute. Evan has also participated in several CLE panels all over the country, including CLEs in Minnesota, Florida, New York and Texas. Evan is also the co-founder of “End Scene: An Entertainment Law Podcast” where he, and his co-host Anthony Iliakostas, discuss the legal parameters of the entertainment industry and deep dive into the biggest and most important entertainment law stories on a weekly basis.
