Biography

Jonathan Kushner is a Senior Technician Reviewer in Branch 3 of the Office of Chief Counsel (Corporate). During his time at Chief Counsel, Jonathan has worked on various private letter rulings, regulation projects and field litigation matters.

Previously, Jonathan was a principal in the New York M&A Tax Group of Deloitte. In that role, Jonathan advised private equity and strategic clients on acquisitions, dispositions, spin-offs, restructurings and bankruptcy reorganizations. Prior to working at Deloitte, Jonathan was a tax associate with Weil, Gotshal & Manges.

Jonathan received his JD from Boston University Law School and an LLM (Tax) from New York University School of Law.
