Biography
Ms. McCulloch has recently retired after working for over 20 years at Sempra, a San Diego based Fortune 500 infrastructure company. Her latest role was Sempra’s Director-Risk & Compliance, where she was responsible for leading corporate compliance and risk assessment efforts across the enterprise. In this role, her responsibilities included managing programs such as the Code of Business Conduct, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, policy governance, information management, compliance risk assessment and compliance frameworks. She was also responsible for the enterprise risk management function and the corporate safety, emergency management, business continuity and environmental programs.
Ms. McCulloch began her legal career in law firms, and then joined Sempra in 2004 as senior counsel, advising in M&A activities, commercial contracts and supporting external affair functions, including political activity compliance. After ten years working as a Sempra transactional attorney, Ms. McCulloch became Sempra’s Director-Corporate Governance and Assistant Corporate Secretary. In that role, she was responsible for Sempra’s entity management and subsidiary governance, and she served as the corporate secretary for San Diego Gas & Electric Company and Southern California Gas Company, as well as supporting the Sempra board governance as assistant corporate secretary.
Ms. McCulloch received her B.S. degree from Brigham Young University and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She resides in Coronado, California where she is relaxing while she contemplates a second career.
