Biography
Priya Udeshi Crick is Associate General Counsel at New York Life advising their broker-dealers and investment advisor. She also is the lead lawyer for their client prospecting and marketing value stream. Previously, she was the Legal Officer for the New York Life Foundation and functioned as lead counsel overseeing New York Life’s asset management businesses in Asia.
Formerly, as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, she advised on investment advisory programs with over $350 billion in AUM. Priya started her legal career as a corporate associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell where she advised on domestic and international securities offerings for Fortune 500 companies.
Priya is a Trustee of the Money Management Institute (MMI) Leadership Gateway Foundation and on the Board of After-School All-Stars New York. She has been a frequent panelist on legal matters for MMI and the Practicing Law Institute. Previously. Priya was a recipient of the MMI Pathways Program Fellowship in recognition of her leadership in the wealth management industry.
Priya's leadership extends to her role as an Advisory Board Member for New York Life’s Asian employee resource group and as Vice Chair of the In-House Council Committee at AABNY. She was recognized as a 2024 Top AANHPI Leader by the National Diversity Council. Priya is a University of Cambridge graduate and was a fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust and Thomas J Watson Fellowship program.
