Biography

Ricardo Alberto Antequera H. is the Firm’s Managing Partner and has more than 25 years of experience in the field of Intellectual Property. He has provided advice and developed strategies for transactions and litigation related to trademarks, copyright, unfair competition, advertising, data protection, privacy, and entertainment.

In the Latin American Chambers and Partners Ranking, he is ranked in Band 1 for intellectual property (2019), also being referred to as “an excellent lawyer” and a “real client-oriented.” Likewise, he has been highlighted as “Leading Lawyer” by The Legal 500 (2018), as “Trademark Leader” by World Intellectual Property Review (2016) and with Gold Band by World Trademark Review 1000 (2019).

Currently, he is an arbitrator for the Arbitration Center of the Chamber of Commerce of Caracas, Legal Director of the Venezuelan Chamber of Franchises, PROFRANQUICIAS and ambassador for intellectual property matters of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
