Karen Oesterle is Associate Director, Legal Research Development at Practising Law Institute in New York.  She began in legal publishing in 1989 with Matthew Bender, later LexisNexis, and sold print, web-based offerings, eBooks, and digital libraries to law firms, corporations, and federal government agencies until 2014.  She then began as a Research Librarian, rising to Head of Reference before moving to PLI in 2022.  Karen graduated from University of Virginia, Indiana University Kelley School of Business, and Drexel University College of Information Science and Technology.
