Overview
PLI’s annual Commercial Real Estate Finance program is unparalleled in its depth of instruction in this complex, highly competitive field. Each year, Program Chair Joshua Stein brings together an exceptional roster of legal, financial, and other commercial real estate experts to discuss critical aspects of real estate finance including banking and rating agency metrics as well as litigation outcomes.
Because changing global market forces continue to challenge even the most experienced professionals, it is crucial to remain up to date on complex legal developments and to stay ahead of trends that affect your clients. We will review, among other topics: (i) loan workouts and servicing issues, including loan modifications; (ii) guaranties and carveouts; (iii) ground leases; (iv) recent cases; (v) rating agency expectations; (vi) title insurance; and (vii) recent changes and issues in Delaware law. This year’s program will also revisit the importance of properly vetted legal opinions as well as hotel financing.
