Why You Should Attend
Welcome to The Civility Series, a collection of important discussions that explore civility in various aspects of the legal profession. This series focuses on the intersection of civility and bias and how incivility can relate to certain rules of professional conduct. In this session, our program faculty share their personal experiences and practical recommendations to illustrate how attorneys should balance advocacy with civility in adversarial settings. The program will also cover specific case law and hypotheticals on how attorneys may recognize, prevent, or address potential and actual instances of incivility due to explicit and implicit bias.
