Overview
On September 1, the new Texas Business Courts will open their doors to hear complex commercial disputes. This new judicial organization was designed by the state in hopes of making certain types of business disputes and litigation more efficient. Our panel will discuss what we know at this point and what we expect from the evolving court structure, rules, and judges. While there are a number of strategic questions, both for litigants and in-house lawyers, our panel will provide clarity as to the specific business disputes the court will hear, and the essentials that lawyers should know regarding this significant development coming out of the great state of Texas.
