Biography

Amanda A. Abraham is a partner with the Roth & Abraham Law Firm in Marshall, Texas, where she practices intellectual property and complex commercial litigation. Since joining the firm in 2006, she has appeared as counsel of record in 100s of cases throughout state and federal court, including patent infringement cases in Texas, California, Delaware, and before the International Trade Commission. She has been involved in multiple trials, including examining and cross-examining fact and expert witnesses. Ms. Abraham routinely handles all aspects of the discovery process. In fact, prides herself in finding cost effective ways to streamline the process for each case.

Ms. Abraham served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Young Lawyers from 2013-2018, where she was awarded the President’s Award of Merit. In 2018, she was one of three selected by the President of the State Bar of Texas to serve as a Trustee for the Texas Bar Foundation. Ms. Abraham is a past president of the Harrison County Bar Association. She currently serves as the secretary/treasurer for the Association of Women Lawyers for the Eastern District of Texas and as the Panel Chair for the State Bar of Texas Grievance Committee.

Ms. Abraham holds a law degree from South Texas College of Law and a Bachelors of Science degree in Journalism, with an emphasis in Public Relations, and a minor in Business Administration from Texas A&M University. She is a third generation Marshall native, who enjoys serving her community through many local civic organizations and currently serves her city as Mayor Pro Tem.
